Too much repetition, too many unnecessary characters, dont much care about her rule, pages and pages of descriptions that really added nothing to the story. And I was like, that works. I joined maybe a year ago, maybe close to the week because I remember hearing about tick tock all the time. Fantastic telling of a story from the perspective of a villain. I couldnt stop reading tho. Her blossoming career on Broadway tanked, forcing her to crawl back to home to Wellington. I shrug off my dressing gown and step into it.Bad?Wonderful. She helps me tighten the laces in the back, her fingers deftly familiar with the task. Obviously, they fought this war, like, which is not good. But theyre still doing really bad things with it. Way too many things arent explained properly or left at a loose end. Even her intense hate for Derek, the human who washed up on Briars shores who won some of Auroras friendship, grew annoying and it bothered me how it felt like the story was trying to set up a love triangle or force Alyce to hate someone who wasnt as bad as she made him out to be, making it feel annoyingly petty. And the Fae are responsible for the supposed protections on Auroras curse, which ensure she will not recognize me if she wakes. You left out her claws. And she saw a path and she decided to go down it and it didnt go well. The one thing that grated on me was Alyce, but everything else was a lot of fun to read.
